I used to make this dip all the time with Kelli when we were in middle school. I remember making this dip one time, and adding so much garlic salt to the dish that when my father tried it, it did something to his vocal cords and for the next day he was very hoarse. That dip was probably the tastiest one yet! -Janet
MeMaw’s Salsa
We have seen my Grandmother, MeMaw, make this salsa for a long time. You can gage the heat by her reaction… Mild = a slight reddening of the cheeks. Med = Scratching the top center of her head with her middle finger Hot = a series of hiccups that remove most of the oxygen from the room. Do keep in mind that this heat scale IS based off a women who carries crushed red pepper in her purse! -Brannon

It is a VERY good cheese appetizer, and one that we get often when we visit. -Janet We did this recipe for our Valentine’s Dinner this year (2012)…I can’t not express how GOOD it is!
