So very yummy!!! And don't hesitate to try other flavors and combinations! So far I haven't had a bad version of this bread yet! -Janet

1 loaf Sourdough Bread (King's Hawaiian loaf is great)
1216 oz Shredded Cheese mixture (we usually use 6 Cheese Italian or 4 Cheese Mexican)
 ½ cup Butter, melted
½ pkg of Ranch Dressing powder
½ cup Bacon Bits (real is better, more is better too)
½ cup Green Onions, finely diced
1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2

Cut the bread lengthwise and widthwise without cutting through the bottom crust. This can be a little tricky going the second way but the bread is very forgiving.

3

Place on a foil-lined baking sheet.

4

Combine butter and ranch dressing together, and pour in between the cuts.

5

Next, fill in the cuts with the cheese, and top with bacon and green onions.

6

Wrap in foil; place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

7

Unwrap the bread and bake 10 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.

There is so much you can do with this - remove the ranch flavoring but do a garlic powder instead and add pepperoni slices between the cuts, and serve with marina sauce for a pizza like version. For christmas, change the ranch out for cinnamon sugar, and the cheese for mini chocolate chips or white chocolate chips. Just have fun!
